Senior Pastor Roney and Sister Wyteria Smith Your Immediate and Extended Family in Christ is Doing All Things and Greater Works in Christ!
Table of Contents The Initial Victory and Counterattack The Word of God Being Stood Upon The initial missions On May 1, 1996, Roney Smith accepted the fact that he was chosen to lovingly spread the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus and has been working as a humble servant for the kingdom of God. In October 1997, Roney was chosen to become the Youth Pastor at New Fellowship of Praise Baptist Church in Atlanta. God has given and prepared Roney for a greater mission which is to pastor believers seeking to find and fulfill their purpose during their lifetime of living on earth. The Initial Victory and Counterattack On May 19, 1998, Pastor Smith was informed that the legal battle against Cobb County's policies of not allowing religious organizations to use county facilities such as community centers and library auditoriums had been won. The very next day the mother of Sister Wyteria Smith was hospitalized and a week later upon her release from the hospital, the mother of Pastor Smith was hospitalized. The turmoil and travel to South Carolina every other day for almost a month provided the opportunity for Pastor and Sister Smith to consider moving back to South Carolina. But a Word from God came that it really did not matter. Upon asking God whether or not the family should move or stay, the Holy Spirit told Pastor Smith "It really does not matter". Upon asking for wisdom in understanding the statement, Pastor Smith was informed that "it really doesn't matter for I Am with you. You are blessed in the city, blessed in the fields, blessed when you come and when you go, from the rising of the sun until the going down of the same for I Am with you." Therefore, Pastor and Sister Smith resolved within their spirits not to uproot the seeds that had already been planted and continue to live in Mableton, Georgia. Both mothers returned home and still within the recovering process. Mother Cereser Smith, Pastor Smith's mother, soon moved to Georgia in July 1999 and later joined Anointed Believers Baptist Church. She went home to be with the Lord in September 2000. It was during one of the trips to South Carolina that Pastor Smith completely understood the original vision for Anointed Believers Baptist Church to focus on the family. The legal battles had indeed become a distraction and the return to the vision began on July 26, 1998 with the prophetic visionary message ""A House Not in Vain"" with Psalm 127 providing the understanding. Psalm 127 reads as follows: 1 Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. 3 Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. 1998 marks a new beginning for all of us and as a result of the ministerial training and business development preparation that Roney has received and from witnessing the unmet needs within our immediate community of south Cobb County (state of Georgia in the United States), Rev. Roney and Sister Wyteria Smith as well as other believers such as yourself who hear and are led by the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking within their spirits are quickly coming together as Anointed Believers Baptist Church (ABBC). The vision that has been given to Pastor Smith to lead the effort of establishing ABBC within our immediate community is loud and clear. ABBC will be composed of believers from all cultures and languages (all races, all ages, men, and women alike) as we individually and collectively seek to become servants whose mission is a positive relationship with Christ. Anointed Believers Baptist Church's mission is to cover, strengthen, and support families worldwide by beginning within the immediate communities of: Mableton Austell Powder Springs Marietta Vinings-Smyrna Cascade-Atlanta Being and Developing Sons and Daughters of God to Fulfill The Great Commission and The Great Commandment to Receive the Promises of God as a Family The Word of God Being Stood Upon The Scriptural foundation that we of ABBC are standing upon is Acts 2:44 of the Holy Bible which states, "And all that believed were together, and had all things common". The critical things that are common are the beliefs in Philippians 4:13 which states "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" and John 14:12 which states "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father". Therefore, our collective mission as believers is "Doing All Things and Greater Works in Christ". In ministering to married and engaged couples as well as single and pre-engaged family-oriented adults, Psalm 127 is the foundation with "A House Not in Vain" as the objective. Instead of launching a fundraising drive to construct a physical
building, the vision for ABBC is to focus on the construction of the spiritual building
of your soul. To accomplish these initial goals, two significant missions must be accomplished.
